Tomorrow it's that time again - every year! The Christmas lights known far beyond Switzerland's borders, called "Lucy", will be switched on just in time for the start of the pre-Christmas season. With its glittering crystals, Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse will shine in a contemplative and downright breathtaking atmosphere. Did you know that the "Lucy" has 23,100 LED lights and 11,000 crystals, is one kilometre long and that Zurich has thus found an energy-efficient solution? According to EWZ, an oven for Christmas cookies requires the same amount of electricity in the same amount of time.
But now to the highlight from our side!
In the AURORA, we are not only playing in the top league in terms of culinary and hospitality, but you can also enjoy the best view of the Bahnhofstrasse and thus of the legendary Christmas illumination. Let our team spoil you during the Advent season and feast on the creations of our kitchen crew.
Those who prefer fresh air and cuddly woollen blankets will be welcomed on our terrace with a warming mulled wine or a sparkling glass of KRUG champagne. During the winter months, our Champagne Bar offers exclusive wines served by the glass, accompanied by a "tasting portion 15g" of Prunier caviar.
